Welcome to WIN, a vibrant community dedicated to empowering women in the field of Intellectual Property (IP). Our journey began in 2017 with a simple yet powerful vision: to cultivate a supportive environment where women in IP can thrive and advance their careers together.

Our members hail from diverse backgrounds within IP, spanning law firms, government agencies, corporations, and industries such as tech, biotech, pharmaceuticals, chemical, cosmetics, and materials.  At WIN, inclusivity is the essence of our community. We embrace IP practitioners from all sectors and levels, united by a common goal of empowerment and growth.

Central to our ethos is the rejection of scarcity mentality.  Instead, we foster an environment that champions abundance. We reject the idea that there's a finite number of seats at the table for women in IP.  Instead, we believe that by creating more spaces, we expand opportunities for everyone.  This philosophy forms the cornerstone of our community, where each member actively contributes to the collective success of all.

Founded in New York City, we've grown from a trio to a thriving network of over 1000 members. We've blossomed into a global force with members spanning six continents, and we are proud that so many women from diverse backgrounds identify as members of our vibrant community.

At WIN, accessibility is paramount. We operate on a grassroots model, ensuring that every woman who seeks support and connection can find it here, free of charge. We're fueled by the generous support of law firms and corporate sponsors who share our vision of a more equitable and inclusive future in IP.
